Discover 6+ jaw-dropping video game moves that defy logic and showcase next-level skill. From epic boss battles to unreal combos, these clips will blow your mind.

Ever watched a video game character pull off a move so absurd you had to pause and say, “What the heck just happened? ”

In this article we will dive into some of the wildest, weirdest, and most wonderfully ridiculous moves in video games that you’ll sometimes ask if the devs were in the right mind in putting them in.

Ready for the madness??? I’m hereby presenting you the most unbelievable video game moves! Let’s jump right in!

Drop to Ledge (Horizon Series)

Aloy of the Horizon series is one of the best female characters so far. She’s resourceful and can outwit enemies far stronger and more agile than her. No wonder she’s called the ‘Savior of the Meridian.’ However, there’s this one crazy move that I cannot help but notice and say ‘what the heck’ about, which is the drop-to-ledge maneuver.

Aloy first jumps into the cliff. And while she’s in midair, she throws her grappling hook to her target location, hoping it attaches. It’s kinda cool, but that maneuver is extremely high risk in real life. 😅

Do you agree? Watch this video and let me know if this is safe. 😅

She could have just put the hook in and then jumped, which is 1000x safer than jumping first, throwing the grappling hook, and hoping it attaches! 😒 What the heck, right?

This is pretty much the same with grappling hook moves in Uncharted 4, Ghost of Tsushima, and Sekiro! They are all crazy because they jump first, then throw the grappling hook, hoping it will attach!

Leon’s backflip (Resident Evil 4 Remake)

This move was seen in the mid-game, when he is reaching for an item; a scene automatically triggers, and two chainsaws are piercing the wood and about to cut Leon. Instead of just stepping back. Leon stomps on the wall and performs a backflip! Crazy, right? I don’t know if he is just showing off to Ashley, or if it’s just plain crazy!

Leap of Faith (Assassin’s Creed Series)

Now this game is pretty old, but I still can’t imagine doing this even in my dreams. The protagonist climbs the tallest building or spot in the area in order to scan the environment for useful info and resources.

Now, what’s crazy is, ‘How the heck will he get down!? ’’—and the answer is to do a leap of faith! For me this is an impossible stunt because the character is hundreds of meters high, and he will land on a small group of hay on a cart or small box. One wrong angle is fatal.

After the player lands successfully, he doesn’t have any injuries or broken bones! Now, that’s something! I must say, the protagonist’s faith is real! 😅

Watch this video, and you tell me if this is amazing or plain crazy!

Boulder punching by Chris Redfield (Resident Evil 5)

Here’s another freaky move in the Resident Evil series. This time it’s Chris Redfield unlocking his superhuman strength by punching a boulder in order to become a bridge on lava. This is one of the most hilarious moves in the video game industry. Even today, if I remember this scene, I can’t stop laughing! 😂

Sure, if your partner is in trouble, you would do anything just to save her, right? But Chris went overboard with this, ahahahaha! 😄✌️

Mid-Air Jet Steal (Battlefield 4)

I haven’t entirely played the Battlefield series, but I’ve noticed that this game features one of the most ridiculous moves in video games! In midair, you eject from your jet, time your way to approach another aircraft, and when you get too close, you can steal the jet your opponent is missing.

I think this is the most impossible move in video gaming for me, haha! But it was totally hilarious! 😆

Watch this video so you can see what I mean by being ‘ridiculous.’

Fulton almost anyone or anything (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain)

Now, let’s go back to the late but great Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Snake has a very interesting feature or skill, which is to use Fulton. This tool is used to send anyone or anything to Big Boss’ mother base. But once this tool is upgraded, it can literally send anyone or anything. Troops, animals, trucks, tanks, etc.!

This is just crazy and unreal! Any object Snake finds useful can then be sent back to their base! 😅 What a crazy way to replenish supplies, troops, and anything to their mother base?

If you don’t believe me, watch this clip!

In Summary

After seeing these moves, I’m sure you’re laughing at some of the stunts here. The devs are a little crazy for implementing these, but somehow it met something—which is that we had fun and enjoyed playing!

I will be adding more to the list as we continue to discover more games. Did I miss anything that is remarkable? Let me know in the comments section below!
